Amazon Kindle 2 Latest Generation

I didn't own an Amazon Kindle 1, but I am now the proud owner of the Kindle 2. I've wanted to invest in a good ebook reader for some time, and I knew that only a Kindle would probably calm me down.
But since I heard about some problems with the Kindle 1 and I wasn't particularly impressed with its appearance, I decided to wait and see whether they'd update the device. That turned out to be a great decision when I saw the sleeker and slimmer Kindle 2, so I went ahead with my purchase.
I find the Amazon Kindle 2 very easy to use. Navigation is not a problem and the screen responds fast to any commands. I find the 5-way controller very convenient although a bit small; it made page-turning easy and it also worked well for highlighting and bookmarking, especially since I was lucky enough to have good dexterity in my fingers.
The device also felt light and comfortable in my hands, although sometimes, I do feel as if it would easily break into two since it is a bit too thin. I remedied this, however, by buying a good Kindle cover. But I have to admit that for its size and thickness, the Amazon Kindle 2 does feel kind of heavy.
The moment I got my Amazon Kindle, I was bent on trying out the revolutionary wireless downloading. The Kindle 2 offered global wireless and it wasn't a problem for me to access the Kindle library and download content.
I tested the wireless connection at home and in the office, and it works in both locations. So far I've invested on 17 ebooks and I'm enjoying them all with my Amazon Kindle.
