These Asus eBook Reader are a very popular electronic book choice because consumers can easily browse through magazines, books, or newspapers and when they make their selection they can download the desired selections. Asus is one of the newest manufacturers to introduce its version of an electronic technique reader.

This style reader will support the standard ePub, BBeB Book®, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word formats, as well as access the Asus eStore for the catalog of reading material.

The battery remains charged up to 122 hours. Since this is an extremely new product, there are no reviews of this model at this time. One early concern is where their eStore has sufficient material to download, and if competitors will allow access to their stock. Asus DR570 Reader

In spring 2010, Asus is expected to introduce their newest Asus eBook Reader model DR570. This model is a six inch OLED display designed with the latest and greatest technology. This Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) screen technology is a flat panel display containing thin layers of carbon-based self-luminous compounds that provide high contrast and low requirements for power.

This big advantage is that these screens can be easily viewed in bright lights and at greater angles. It is expected to provide an even faster response time than current models on the market.

It is anticipated to have an enhanced ability to play Flash material over the WiFi or 3G network, and one charge on the battery is projected to last for 122 hours. This e-reader is expected to support text-to-speech software as well as the ePub, BBeB Book®, Adobe PDF, and Microsoft Word industry standard formats.

This device allows the operator to alter the font style for more comfortable reading, and enlarge those articles that are smaller and difficult to read; portrait or landscape mode should be available. Moving between pages is expected to be enhanced. It is very new and certainly there are no complaints at this time.

The newest models of the Asus eBook Reader will provide the latest and greatest technology – the OLED display – in addition to faster response times than other models available on the market today.

These readers are capable of accessing books for 122 hours before needing to be charged, and they will support all the industry standard formats currently available.
