Ebook Covers for Prs-505

I recently bought an ebook cover for my ebook reader. I’ve been using the Sony PRS-505 for a year now. I used the original Sony cover before, but I’m now looking for other options since I wanted to update the simple black leather cover.

I was curious how well the unique hardshell case from eCaddy worked. The special hardshell case for the Sony Reader PRS-505 sold for around $25. I was quite happy about the ebook cover since it provided protection for the entire device.

It also looked great with its silver color. The hard protective cover was also sturdy, though it was a bit thinner than I expected. But I felt pretty confident that my Sony ebook reader was well-protected, and the case wasn’t heavy at all.

The problem was, I didn’t like how I had to remove the cover and find some place to put it while I read my ereader. Sometimes I even misplace the ebook cover. The ereader is also loose and can accidentally fall.

So I purchased a new cover, the M-Edge Executive Jacket made especially for Sony Reader PRS-505. I learned that M-Edge was a pretty popular brand, and I realized why. The leather jacket looked sleek and great; the genuine leather cover and the soft interior also felt nice. I chose the one in mocha with a cream saddle; I liked the saddle because it made me feel extra secure that my ebook reader wasn’t going to fall off the jacket any time.

Unlike the hardshell case I first bought, I didn’t have to worry about the ebook cover since I could just flip it and start reading. It was more convenient to use, though I have to admit, the silver hard case did look shiny and cool.
