Kindle 2 Covers

A few weeks after I got my Kindle 2, I went shopping for Kindle covers for it. I was becoming attached to my ebook reader, so I went looking for protective shock-proof and scratch-proof Kindle covers.
I picked the neoprene case from Belkin. I got it for around $25, and I was confident about my choice because the case had a 4.5-star rating and more than 300 reviews from other users. My Kindle 2 fit snugly into the case, and the neoprene material was of good quality and seemed to give enough protection.
However, after some time, I realized that the zip-up case design of Kindle covers was a bit of a hassle. I had to open the zipper and take out the Kindle every time I wanted to read, and then the ebook was completely vulnerable.
So I decided to look at jacket-style Kindle covers. I settled on the M-Edge Go! Kindle jacket. The leather jacket looked clean and professional, which suited me just fine.
I bought it for around $30, and the slight increase in price was alright since now it was easier for me to read the Kindle and still have it protected, thanks to the jacket style. I don’t need to remove the device from the ebook cover anymore, either for reading or for charging.
And it still offered the same soft protection on the inside despite its full leather hard cover on the outside. The only downside is that sometimes, I get nervous the Kindle would get loosened from the hinge, but I checked it and it looked pretty secure.
I like the soft protection all over offered by the snug and secure Belkin neoprene case, but the jacket-style Kindle covers from M-Edge Go! was more user-friendly.
